Agreed, why would you put a case around an iPhone 4 - you trying to make it UGLY, most cases just scratch the back of th ephone anyway as dust/dirt gets in there and just rubs between the case and the phone.

Lets assume I opt for a ssd hard drive and my mac ships 4 weeks from today also lets assume Lion comes out in 6 weeks. Typically apple gives the upgrade for free for anyone that purchased a mac in the last month. Would you still get the upgrade for free since you purchased the imac 6 weeks ago or is the upgrade determened by shipping date?

This is why Android phones are creeping up on iOS...they are offering more features and constant innovation in the hardware. iPhone users (and I used to be one) only enjoy hardware innovation once a year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 12 MP cameras, 2-3 MP front cameras all running Android 2.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

UGLY. I hope tey have an option to return it to the unified look of the rest of the OS. If not, I'm sure there will be a terminal hack to being some sense back to the UI.

An ultra portable or headless tower is innovation? The world is full of them. On the other hand, Front Row, Boot Camp, built-in iSight, Mag-safe connector, mighty mouse, much more bang for the buck iMacs, laptops and MacPro's do not count. As I remember, this time last year almost everybody was complaining about "obsolete" G4's in laptops and the limited number of hard drive and optical drive slots on the PowerMacs. I guess solving those problems does not count.
iPods is the cash cow and what did Apple do about it? Well, colorful nanos are cool, but I prefer a white one anyways. I'd think iPod camp would have a lot more to complain about. Geez...

Its hard to ask for much while these guys are finishing a whole new OS. Trying to Beta-Test it. While trying to keep up with all the new Intel chips and dealing with the new techonology pipeline. They've delivered huge improvements, may not be innovation; but it certainly is better. And I rather have that than nothing.

Yeah, I would estimate my dropped call rate is around 20-30% (Northern Virginia) sometimes higher depending on the day. They said they built a new tower near me, but ever since I got that message, my coverage has dropped at least one to two bars everywhere I go.

Apple leveraged iPods to sell iTMS, and iPods to sell Macs, but Microsoft can use MediaPlayer/Vista/Urge to push its WMA players. Controlling 90%+ of the world's desktops with XP and soon with Vista, they have an opportunity to push the iPod and iTMS right off the map. It already seems well on its way to happening with movie downloads.
I am not saying that MS will do any of the above, but they are sure well positioned to do so. If Vista manages to successfully push people to register their credit cards at Urge, and WMA playback capability becomes a must-have feature, Apple will have a lot of trouble on their hands.
Say a prayer that Jobs manages to not only deliver must-have sexy devices, but that he makes iTunes a whole lot more impressive for Mac and especially for Windows so that people won't even want to use Media Player.
