From what I understand about CDMA phones, the carrier has to allow the phone on their network. As the others have said, it's highly doubtful that Sprint would do that. It can't hurt to ask, but expect to be disappointed.

What happened to all the deals?
We had the $$$ off the FP screens with a PM purchase- no update to the deal, price deduction or new product after the last day of the deal.
We had the print and save- ibook/ebook/imac purchase deal- no update to this deal or price drop, product update or other promo.
Check the savings is still around- I think it is more of a sales generator for OS X.
The two software (Adobe InDesign/MS Office) deals are still good deals- but Apple could have these regardless of hardware updates.
Does this mean Status quo until January for Hardware?
Well, things are pretty quiet- kind of similar to the End of January to April period this year when the Powermacs we updated and the finally new Powerbooks showed up.
What are your throughts?

I don't have an iPad2 or the camera kit but I do have the ability to use google so here you go: http://www.pcworld.com/article/195013/ipad_camera_connection_kit_connects_other_things_too.html
granted that article talks about the iPad1 so you will need to test the method to confirm it.
here is a tutorial for using handbrake to rip the movies in the first place: http://www.methodshop.com/gadgets/tutorials/handbrake/index.shtml
you don't have to be a douche about it.
you always have to import the movie you going to watch off the SD card, so you must make sure you have at least that much space on your ipad.

Looks like a good start! I like the nice colors.
Not that it would make a huge difference, but you could reduce the height of contbg.jpg to 1px instead of 5px. It would reduce file size a tiny bit.
It's definitely not necessary, but it woudn't hurt either:D

Great quality too. The quality of their HD downloads are impressive. Since they're owned by Wal-Mart, maybe they'll push the rental pricing down lower across the board.
By the way, good for Sony for offering a direct competitor to their built-in PSN video offerings on their own hardware. Of course, they get paid either way. I'm sure that makes a difference too.

An interesting quote: The problems involve the Working Families and Disabled Person's Tax Credits system, which was replaced in April 2003 by an updated system called the Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credits system. The new system is dogged by problems and may be too complex ever to implement properly, the report says.
What are the chances this is implemented in Windows?

I guess I should have left well enough alone. Now Cydia crashes on launch, I can't connect via ssh, and the iphone is not recognized when plugged in via USB. Obviously I'm unable to install ultrasn0w and unlock so my phone is basically unusable. Any suggestions?
hard reset the phone and it should boot up normally.

You should consider getting a laptop privacy screen from 3M. They are expensive, but if you can find one that is the right size they will both protect your screen and your information from peering eyes!

Possibly your hosts file is pointing to cydia instead of apple so apple can't properly authorise the upgrade?

I am video editor and have an Intensity pro card as well. And all its good for is displaying my video from FCP and Motion to a TV monitor. And half the time that is an issue just to get that to work. There own capture software doesn't even work with their own ****. No video just audio maybe.
So I called them about problems I was having and they said well it works with our setup. Which means that have the most basic setup of a computer and Video Editing software and nothing else installed or attached.
WOW! thanks for the help BlackMagic. That cleared up a lot.
If you are going OUT to TV monitor you can always go out from a GT120 > DVI > HDMI(?!)
That might solve your Blackmagic woes. For me, I have to capture a signal coming in and get it to Skype... THAT is the big stumper for me.

Can anyone tell me how to make my first column the 'Artist' column? I can rearrange all my columns fine, but it won't let any column but 'Song Name' be first in the order. Is it possible to have 'Artist' as the first column?
I could be wrong, but I don't think that's possible. Sorry.

I used DiskTracker (http://download.cnet.com/DiskTracker/3000-2130_4-5156.html?tag=mncol;1) a lot years ago and liked it but to be honest, those where back in the OS 8/9 days. It's still around now and regularly updated.
DiskCatalogMaker (http://download.cnet.com/DiskCatalogMaker/3000-2248_4-996.html?tag=mncol;4) has also been around for a long time and seems to have a good following along with regular updates.

It looks like there is possible to mount an own SSD now? didn't the last iMac require some kind of Apple supplied mountingkit which you only got when you bought the SSD option?
Yes, it SEEMS that another hard drive can now be fit under the optical drive bay without such an adapter. However, these mounting holes you can see on iFixIt are still not the standard way to attach harddrives, so some sort of adapter might still be required.
On a sidenote, when I was talking to the (very friendly) Apple store employee on the phone yesterday to order my 27" iMac, I was asking the very same question. He put me on hold to talk to a tech-guy about this issue, and came up with the response that an Apple service partner will be able to fit in an additional SSD later. I'm not too certain that this will be true, maybe he just misunderstood my question and meant that the service partner can replace the current harddisk with an SSD (instead of adding an additional one), so I'll remain sceptical.
But the iFixIt-teardown has given me hope that it might in fact be easier now to add another harddrive without BTO.

What's your favorite external battery? Given no modular MBA batt, figure this becomes pretty important for extended "away from wall power" time. (Outdoor enthusiasts especially.)

you might try this topic in the site feedback section
Good idea, thanks. However, I'll wait until there are a few more responses here first, no one seems to think it's a good idea, but no one has said it's a bad idea either...
Expanding the remit might enable discussion of, amongst other things, use of macs in stats and mathematics (Matlab, R, is Mathematica still around?), instrumentation (labview), graphing and visualisation (matlab again), discussions of benchmarking would be relevant too (xbench, geekbench). ...and of course distributed computing would still be highly relevant!
If anyone has an opinion either way, 'fess up! :-)

That's a silly read. Especially-
The see a lot of risk in Lair because it's unusual and defies classical categorization by genre.
Way to try and jump on Nintendo's "risk" bandwagon. It isn't a risk, unless the game they have demonstrated in the videos is totally different to what the actual game is.
At this stage it's almost as funny reading what Insomniac said about the PS3, which is equivalanet to Bungie talking about the 360 or Retro about the Wii.
Next dev please.
edit: where are the graphics comments? They're talking about the "limitless Cell", not the "limitless RSX". You're getting your wires crossed OP.
