Hey guys I need your help again.
I have some footage of a friend shaving her head for cancer.
Two cameras were used to get the footage.
One was HD and the other was miniDV.
My friend was wearing an orange smock when losing the hair and because of the different formats, the oranges are different.
Is there anything simple you would suggest in order to get them relatively the same colour?
Many thanks in advance!
=)

I know how to get it, but give me a few minutes and I'll have it.
It's this one you're talking about right?

Enjoy.
EDIT: No worries.

The seller could probably answer this.
Why is this in accessories?

If none of those options work for you, find a church or school that would take them. Many have access to low income families that could use a computer for simple word processing, email and web surfing.

Hmm... Okay. Thanks for that.
Taken from the bottom of this page (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449), just for the record.
"Resetting the parameter RAM (PRAM) when the computer is shut down also resets the Power Manager. The following process resets both the Power Manager and the parameter RAM."
This is true for the PMU unit on the logic board but is not a full PMU reset. Resetting the PRAM does not force the battery to be polled for charge and there for does not sync the battery charge level/charge indicator.
The PMU reset will also reset the trackpad optical drive. a NVRAM reset will reset track pad, optical drive, logic board and a few other things.
On desktop units its called a SMU and does about the same thing (just no battery involved). but it does reset the computers power systems.

Hey Guys! I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 with iOS 4.2.1 and I have used my given share of data from the service provider. I would like to know if there is any way around to use internet tethering without getting any additional data charge. Thanks.

It appears someone created that page without looking at the Category:Ports, which I created a few days ago. I will incorporate this information into all the separate port-specific pages and redirect it.

If you are on a Mac, try creating a new account and then use it to restore the phone.

Before I was even to the part where you praised the clip, I was navigating towards the post button to say that the clip is hideous and shouldn't be on there, lol.

al Jazeera report (http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2011/05/201153111651752111.html)
Palestinian factions sign reconciliation deal
Representatives of factions including Fatah and its rival Hamas ink deal following talks in Egypt.
Palestinian factions have signed a reconciliation deal that will pave the way for elections within a year.
Representatives of factions including Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah party and its rival Hamas inked the deal following talks with Egyptian officials in Cairo on Tuesday.
"We signed the deal despite several reservations. But we insisted on working for the higher national interest," said Walid al-Awad, a politburo member of the leftist Palestine People's Party.
"We have discussed all the reservations. Everyone has agreed to take these points into consideration," he told Egyptian state television without elaborating.
"Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank will be celebrating this agreement... We must now work to implement what was agreed in the deal."
.....
The deal, which was announced last week, comes after 18 months of fruitless talks and envisions the formation of an interim government of independents that will pave the way for presidential and legislative elections within a year...
Not surprisingly, Netanyahu isn't happy about this, but it's a year for changes in the Arab world

I'm selling several photo items. I have a near-mint Canon 20d (some brassing on hot shoe, 6k clicks) for $475. I have a mint Tamron 90mm macro for $350, Canon 28-135 IS (brand new) for $350, mint Canon 70-300 IS f4-5.6 for $500. If you want to take advantage of the live.com ebay discount I'd be open to set up an ebay auction for what you want (gotta love taking money from M$).

Hi all, I am just around to buy two Macbooks (MBP15 for me and MBA11 for my girlfriend).
I know that I can get governmental discount but I am not sure what I can get on it. I have seen somewhere short list with what you can get with governmental discount but I don't remember what was there exactly. I guess that I can get only one macbook in one year but what about applecare? Can I get two? It will be still quite big saving.
I actually asked at apple store and they double check like five times with other stuff and the conclusion was "maybe you can get everything" so it is little bit unclear and I guess it is better to ask.
Thank you
The online store for both federal and state employees indicates that it applies to computers (based on the price difference). Everything else seems to have standard pricing. I didn't read where it said the limit was, but I would imagine it is one laptop a year, one desktop a year, etc. That is how it is with the education discount (I have more experience with that than the government stuff).
Hope it helps.

It doesnt have to last me that long, I just want to know if it will. Also, its not that Im playing the waiting game, I just want to know if I should wait for the Intel processors instead of PPC. The thing is I hear new Intel iBooks would have many problems as well as the new apps and if theyll still be buggy when I need one, I would buy one now bc theyre pretty much perfected w/ the PPC.
Apples age very well. I know a number of people using G3 iMacs, c. 1999, as their primary computers.
I also see original iBooks at coffeeshops quite frequently.
I plan on mine lasting me through college (in my first semester of freshman year).

Have you looked in those directories? The filenames are strings of hexadecimal digits, not what my apps wrote.
Furthermore I notice that the paths are listed in a binary file
called Manifest.mbdb.
Someone has figured out how to parse that file luckily:

So inside Objective-C actions I can use C++ methods or no?
Yes, you can. You will need an Objective-C method to receive the action, but it can simply be a thin layer around a call to a C++ method (on, say, a C++ object that is an ivar of your Objective-C class).

My iphone was recently very slow. all running apps were closed but still slow.
I jailbroke it ages ago with redsnow.
To solve the slow issue I tried doing a full wipe reset. half way through the screen went black and now nothing. wont go into dfu mode. wont even switch off. the apple logo comes up then the skull logo spins then nothing blank screen with a low light so it is switched on.
Cant even take it back to apple and play dumb because of the spinning skull.
help please

Apple claims that a PRAM reset will automatically reset the Power Manager. I've always assumed this Power Manager to be the PMU but I've seen problems not solved with a PRAM reset yet solved with a PMU reset.
How is this so?
Any help is greatly appreciated, as ever. :)
For most things a PRAM reset will solve. It resets a lot of the PMU settings but does not reset charge/discharge defaults.

Hi
I have used iMovie 6 for years and did not like iMovie 8 but iLife 8 allowed me to keep both on my G5. I have moved to a Mac Pro and it comes with iLife 11. Do you know if I will be able to install and access both programs?? ..I want to re-edit old projects.
What iLife version is running on your Mac Book Pro?
Thanks,
Kent
I have the latest 13" MBP with iLife 11 and I used migration assistant from my previous mac and it all works still. Haven't experienced this myself, but I hear if you wanna install iMovie HD 6, there's a little work around you gotta do because it requires some part of iLife 08.
Check this out: http://www.tuaw.com/2010/08/04/installing-imovie-hd-6-without-ilife-08/
