Yes. It's a great machine and very capable. I don't experience any overheating issues or such. However, at night, when I'm asleep, I run it on a cooling pad in the kitchen for those "just-in-case" moments. However, during the day, I just run it without the cooling pad since it's pretty loud.

Disagree about the LP album being even close to good, but I stated that before:rolleyes:
CD's? That's still just about all I purchase, beside my vinyl collection:D I want a physical copy for everything, and I like to have the artwork, AND get it signed by the artist when I see them live. I also get the ticket and place it behind the CD holder in the case. With my Genelec 1030A's I can tell if it's an MP3 or not:p Now where did the sweet spot between my speakers go again:rolleyes:
And on top of all that, it's your property to do with as you please...forever.:)

im glad they returned FW800 to the 15inch model.
Nice processor upgrade as well, and the 3 gig memory options are great, makes the macbook pro (i actually typed powerbook the first time around.. still not use to it) a serious condender again for the pro apps like apperture and final cut, it use to be very hard to get away with just one mobile mac without a tower for the power but the new revision really looks great!

OMG....I would NEVER take information as fact from an "ATT customer service agent". I have received so much wrong info or even been dare I say lied to, I would never trust what a random ATT rep said.
Not to mention, the service reps are so far down the chain of command, they would not have info on when the next iphone is being released.

A. Not knowing what the ****** they're talking about.
B. Making something up to get you off the phone.
One of the many reasons I will never again give AT&T a dime of my money.

Jailbreaking hole plugged?
Of course since jailbreaks only happen because of security holes. So I hope Apple closes up security holes even if it means jailbreaking breaks. While I'd like Apple to make it possible to jailbreak easier I won't begrudge them this approach.

And when I'm on-call, this is so horrible it frightens me. I've been ready for a new carrier for months now (and I've only been with AT&T for 9 months), but not quite ready for a new phone (yet).

In my opinion, I think that at&t should focus on spreading their 3g network to cities like the one that I live in, where there are at least 100,000 people residing in, rather than putting towers up on every street corner in NYC. It pisses me off that we pay the same price for phone service, yet we cant even take advantage of the 3g speeds. NYC has had 3g service for 5 years, yet we don't even have reliable EDGE service.

Not really. There are some markets where Verizon LTE is able to pull down over 10 MB/s, which T-mobile's HSPA+ and WiMax can't touch.
AT&T's HSPA+ can pull down 21 MB theoretically. 4x faster than HSPA 7.2.

I believe he's talking about them moving the volume buttons for the Verizon iPhone. So a case for the AT&T iPhone won't fit the Verizon iPhone.

I think you have things somewhat confused, transvestites are typically the ones with big hands, wide shoulders, adams apples etc as they don't take female hormones and typically never have surgery, they simply crossdress.
You seem more than anything just plain misinformed, like you have some exaggerated idea of what being transgender actually means. Put simply you only notice the transgender people you notice, so to your eye you may casually cast us all as obvious. I used to think similarly myself, it came as a great surprise to me that transgender people for the most part live fairly normal mundane lives.

iAdware apparently works by silently installing a system library. That sounds like a vulnerability that Apple could easily fix, by requiring Admin privileges, issuing a warning, and/or prompting for an Admin password.
