He's such a pinko lefty for performing "Share the Land" ;)
I got a kick out of it, I could never see Ignatieff doing something like that though.
I hear that Marie Antoinette was a farking laugh at parties.

Hey everybody. I bought an ipod a few days ago, and I'm having what I call a problem...although it may be normal...you tell me.
Ok, when I plug it into my ibook, it uploads like it should. However, Iget that "Do Not Disconnect" message for what seems like forever. Once the music is uploaded, shouldn't I be able to disconnect the thing? I have to eject it so that I can use it, or I close my ibook, putting it to sleep, and then I can resume my normal ipod functions. I'm going to keep it plugged in all night tonight, and disable the sleep function, and see what happens.
I'm just curious though...is this supposed to happen? Does the message goaway after awhile? Thanks in advance.
Chris

Simply Computing on West Broadway are also selling it at 6PM.
They're staying open until 8PM.
I wish I could go but I have major plans that night.
Given that it's not an Apple store I'm sure they won't be giving out the t-shirts though. Us Canadians don't get any of that stuff. Being the poor cousins. Eh?
Cheers.

If you have to ask...you need to do some more basic research to understand lens construction and design.
Or to phrase another way: if you have to ask why it's so expensive, they're not trying to sell it to you.
But why would you want to get a lens that outresolves the camera sensor? Canon, Nikon and others already sell lenses that outresolve their sensors.

The Apple USB modem you're looking at will work fine, I've used one in the past (I think I still have two). They're on ebay like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/brand-new-apple-usb-modem-/290559875163?pt=PCC_Modems&hash=item43a6b7d85b) one. I have also seen these modems on Craigslist a few times.

I used iStudiez Pro but I am tired of it.
I am looking for something new, as well.
Does Things sync over the cloud? Like will it sync using my 3G? or My MBP and iPhone have to be on the same wifi network?

Evening all,
I was messing around with logic on my MBP today, and my son (6, nearly 7) was well into it, and soon took over playing around and adding in instruments/loops/effects and loving it.
In his room we have an old iMac G3, with a whopping 400MhZ processor and 512MB of RAM. Anyone got any recommendations for something similar that'll run on his machine? I know it's lacking the horsepower for a lot of the fancier effects, but once upon a time a 400Mhz G3 was cutting edge!
The iMac is running 10.4, and classic, but I have the OS9 CD if running that natively will open up more options. I think I read somewhere that it was possible to trick garageband 1 into running, but not that quickly. I could rig up an external firewire drive if that's likely to make things any more useable.
Cheers for any input.
Mike

Well, unless you find an easier way, you only would have to type each album name (how many?) once, then copy, paste, paste, paste... for each track.
Or select all tracks for an album, Get Info, then type the Album Name one time, instead of copying and pasting.
For the OP: Have you considered removing those albums from your iTunes library and re-ripping them with an internet connection available?

Isn't that system capable of 6GB or even 8GB ram?
I would just upgrade and keep it if you can wait. If not, go ahead, but after you're done with design, you'll be looking to sell that for another system again. For the same $700, you can upgrade quite a bit with the current system.
Yes, up to 8 GB. Even the 13" aluminum unibody MacBooks from late 2008 are capable of 8 GB.

Has anyone had problems with a UK company called Cheapest UK iPod Repairs? info@cheapestukipodrepairs.com sales@cheapestukipodrepairs.com. They have had my sons iPod Nano in for repair for 14 months now. They have returned the device on at least 3 occasions and each time the 'repair' has been found wanting (dust behind the screen, scratches, poor workmanship, components hanging off, etc); the last time they even tried to fob us off by sending a 4mb version back instead of the 8mb one we sent.
I am interested to know if anyone else has had problems as I am intending to take this up with their credit card company if the matter is not resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
