I'm starting to have doubts, mainly for one reason: The show is only a few days away, and there is NO leaked material. No prototype photos from Mister Blurrycam, no packshots, no peripherals... Given Sony's track record of keeping new hardware secret, I'd say it's not looking good. If they do show it next week, then kudos to Sony for tightening their security! :)

Has anyone with the new iMac experienced the persistent buzzing issue present in most of the models last year?
The issue presents itself when the brightness is below full (and proceeds to get louder as you lower the brightness further). Tends to be more obvious when the casing becomes warm.
This is the only thing keeping me from buying an iMac, after the few I got last year were all returned for that issue.

At this point, I couldn't really care less about Blu Ray or HD-DVD. I'd be more excited if Apple included Lightscribe or equivalent capability in their drives. Unlabeled discs are piled high on my desk.
Just replace your burner with a LightScribe unit and use the HP burning s/w.
....unless you have a laptop and dont wish to lug around an external burner?

Now all they need to do is lower the price to $75, or include dotMac with iLife, or give discounts on Apple software with the purchase of .Mac.
Oh, and they need to increase speed and storage. And they need to add support for smartphones by enabling "push" IMAP.
And they in general need to stop depending on their tie-ins to the OS to make it worth it for the service... thats something MS would do. Make it worth it because it is a better product.

I changed mine online. Didn't affect my costs at all. I had the unlimited texting plan already and the 700Min family plan. So I just got an extra perk for free.. :D

The FAQ page is updated.
http://www.wireless.att.com/answer-center/main.jsp?t=solutionTab&ft=&ps=solutionPanels&locale=en_US&_dyncharset=UTF-8&solutionId=KB116688
It's only available for Family Talk plans of $69.99+, which appears to be the 1400 mins plan.
It's available for Individual plans of $39.99 and up.

That depends on the design of the display housing. As Apple currently employs tapering, the bezel will be a bit thicker, though the 17" MBP has a very small bezel already.
Or look at the older MBPs and PowerBooks. It is possible, even 5mm or less is possible, but the tapering has to be taken away or the edge thickness will be thicker.

You know the belt clip that comes with the iPod mini?
Is there one for the big iPods?
If there is, can you provide a link.

If I did it right, I could get a bit over 400 miles out of a fill of gas (not the ENTIRE tank, but what I'd normally fill it to) in my 300C on the freeway. I usually get more like 22mpg than 24 though, because when I go on road trips that car is loaded UP. XD

Something old I had saved.
I'll work on another one and maybe I'll learn how to give it a title instead of just my username. Hah.

This should not have happened. Call AppleCare ASAP on a 2011 MPB.

We get a full year of support on hardware and software, and have Applecare for beyond year 1. So limited OS support is FUD.
I don't think it is FUD. For example, Microsoft's last support for WinXP Pro ends in April of 2014 that is over 12 years of support from the vendor.

Firstly, as well as school i've worked 20 hours a week for nearly a year at around 6.50 an hour. I'll leave you to work out how much i've got. So no, it's not really ridiculous.
Secondly, my parents are happy to pay insurance. I find that fair to be honest.
Yes the new fiestas look great but sadly are too expensive.
;)
Guess thats about 6 grand after spending money, and insuring a new car is barely anymore than an old one, My Mk5 Fiesta was 2400 to insure :/
