I use a wired mouse myself, but a lot of people seem to like the Logitech MX 900 (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=3,CONTENTID=7110) and also the sexy sexy TheMouseBT (http://www.macmice.com/themousebt.html).
Try doing a search on the forums, too ... there are a ton of threads on this.

Why use OpenOffice on a Mac? NeoOffice Aqua is the way to go on a Mac.
Personally, I use both "OpenOffice.org 2.0.3" and "NeoOffice 2.0 Aqua beta 3" (based on OOo 2.0.3). Both have advantages and limitations.
NeoOffice's advantages:
- it uses native fonts (OOo uses fondu to extract the fonts and be able to use them, which duplicates them. Furthermore, when you want to use the document with Neo or OOo on windows, a 1 full page document may appear on 2 pages with 1 or 2 lines on the top of the second)
- it is more Mac friendly
OpenOffice.org for Mac using X11 has also some advantages:
- it opens quicker (I ran test on both on my PB G4 15" 1.5 GHz 1.5 GB RAM: OOo opens in 26 secondes the first time when even X11 is not launched, then OOo reopens in 6 secondes. Neo opens in 32 secondes the first time, then in 14 secondes after it has been closed)
- it uses less memory (OOo+X11: 87.15 MB real memory and 736.68 virtual. Neo: 218.35 MB real memory and 997.63 virtual)
- presentations transitions are way better handled than Neo (generally OOo tends to be faster than Neo, maybe due to this Java dependance?)
- it is the official OpenOffice.org, more up-to-date, is QAed, and the future of it doesn't rely only on two persons (as committed as they are, they are only human) but on a team.
NeoOffice is more "aquafied" than OpenOffice.org which needs X11 right now, so a lot of people prefers it over OpenOffice.org. But in a few months OpenOffice.org for Mac should go native (an alpha version is expected in Jan or Feb).
It is indeed too bad that there are two separate projects, wasting in a sense time, energy and donations. It is the result of licence differences, technical approach differences, and miscommunication.

i think what cutyoursim is doing is quite legal.
My local vodafone charges 100euros (was 200euros last year) to unlock any iphone & get it registered on apple's servers.
ANY iphone? Or any vodafone iphone?

You do know that the accelerometer output consists of 3 values for the X Y and Z components of acceleration, right?
B
Yes i am aware of the accelerometer's capability. But i am only working with the X readings for now..
The acceleration.x readings are casted into integers and saved in a stroreArray, In a button press the values are saved, when the button is pressed again different set of values are saved...
I have this code in the method i am trying to compare the values from the accelerometer reading.
.
.
int value=0;
for (int i=0;i<storeArray; i++) {
{
if ([[storeArray objectAtIndex:i] intValue] == x && [[storeArray objectAtIndex:i+1] intValue] == y)
{
value++;
}
[array2 replaceObjectAtIndex:position withObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:value]];
}

I am looking for one so i can listen to music before i buy the albums
riiiight.... :rolleyes: (no offense)
Anyway, in all seriousness:
Have you thought about simply using a music subscription service in this day and age? I don't know whether Spotify (http://www.spotify.com) is available in the US yet. If so, that would be my first choice. It is excellent. :)

Back in the days of mac os 9 and 8, I recall using a multiple user type of software called ______.
Can anyone help me find out what it was called? I remember the little "people" icons had round heads with a rectangular body.
Also, I tired searching for this on the forums already as im sure it has been posted, but because I don't know the name, no luck.
Any help would be great!

Introducing Apple Galileo™. :) All-in-one PDA, digital camera, phone and mp3 player.
And what we all get is is 4 things in one that do not work as they should. I understand convergance of technology, however a phone needs a keypad, (maybe not later when voice tech works better) a PDA needs a larger screen to view thing and maybe write on, a camera needs good lens capable of zoom and other adjustments you do not get with fix lens and finally MP3 plays need stereo head sets which a Phone does not.
So put this all together does not give use a great solution. I beleive in time this will change, But i rather have a phone that works great a phone verses where we have not.
I blame the "Kids" becuase they all seem willing to accept lesser quality for more gagets. The phone companies spent billions of $ and 30 year making your phone calls clear and now everyone is willing to give up thier land line for a cell phone for lesser quality and cost more.

Probably not, or you'd see Chevrolet selling the old generation Corvettes for the price of a Chevette. Just so poor people could afford a fast car.
Doubtful there is enough margin in the eMac for Apple shave $500 out of the price and still make money.

Cool. I definitely agree that this is a good idea. The only problem with a CC license is that someone whose post was copied from the forums might not agree with the license.
Maybe when a post is copied from the forums, we should PM the original poster to let them know...

I don't think that people here will clue you in as to how to pirate a piece of software.
;)
I have heard a lot of great things about Audacity, although I've never tried it....
Tom, I understand your frustration, but I guess, I'm not sure why you would expect that every Mac come with exactly the same software complement.... it isn't true anywhere else in the computer industry. Sorry. :(

Apple will release newly designed ACD's along with the newly designed Mac Pro, and since they just released a Mac Pro, I wouldn't think it would be released for maybe another 7 months to a year.
Don't hold your breath. The current ACD's are amazing.

Sounds like there were much bigger issues here than a simple spelling error.
Yeah, seriously. I don't think there's ANYTHING that anyone could text me, spelling error or no, that would cause me to fly into a murderous rampage.
